The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department’s mission is to provide graduates that meet society’s current and future technical needs by delivering quality and accessible education, to promote creation and dissemination of knowledge, and to serve society and economic development through professional practice and community outreach, locally and globally. Computer engineering job openings have been growing in numbers, thanks to the ever increasing microchip technology and its applications in our lives, such as computers, smart phones, game consoles and gaming. Computer Engineers study both computer software and computer hardware, increasing their versatility and employability. |

Requirements: - University of South Alabama International Application for Admission with the $35 processing fee
- Academic records detailing course work completed in secondary schools with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 as calculated by the Office of International Admissions and Student Programs.
- English Proficiency Requirement- submit one of the following (unofficial copies of scores will be accepted for admission, but official copies will be required prior to enrollment)
- Deposits - A non-refundable admissions deposit of $500 USD will be required of a student before an I-20 or DS-2019 is issued.
